Today is a day that has been set a part by the Lord to honor the life He made: Sir Augustine William Ortiz. Not only my brother, and best friend... but the man that has given me standards, high standards... a man that has sharpened my character, and challenged my life to be fully alive, and to settle for nothing less.
This past year I have grown and I have learned from him in ways he could not fathom... He is a passionate man of purpose... he is lover of the Most High... and he has been on an adventure... my only means of communication with him has been either through email or phone.... neither my favorite... but every time I speak with him.... he is like a fountain that is perpetual - cascading grace, and truth... and I am tree soaking up the rain!
Nothing I do can suffice, nor will suffice - he is undefinable... not because he is August... but because August is dead... and Christ in him is alive...and active!
I love Sir August Willo ....

Hey Ma'ja-
Just wanted to let you know that I'm counting down the days until you and your family get here! (Next week-woot woot!!!!)Can't wait to see you and hopefully take you for our coffee date!
In anticipation of our meeting, I want to tease you with this...I have some amazing stories to tell you...You're gonna want to hear them. :-)
Love always,
Amber
Thank you for my birthday blessing. I'll be reading it over and over praying for a harvest of the sweet seeds you planted for my next year. You know, it's a shame you won't be here Saturday. I would love for you to come to part 2. Bummer. But I know the next week will be sweet for you. I'm excited you finally get to see the brother you've so lovingly shared with us this past year. We have definitely reaped that blessing.
I pray a hedge of protection over you and your family as they travel, in Jesus' name! May God surround you with a battalion of His mighty warriors to guard you on all sides.
Until next week's reunion and new-union (is that even a word?), love and blessing,
Amber
